Changes

Since I have been going through a lot of changes in my life lately, I decided to make another change and shaved my head – for me it symbolises a new start.

The idea behind shaving head is a symbol of renunciation. Hair is the symbol of attachment and since I am not attached to anything right now, it just felt like it was the right time to do this.

I always wanted to do it and it feels great. I wanted to share this with all of you since you will see the next pictures with me and probably wonder how I look like now; it’s very convenient to travel with short hair as well :) and don't worry, my hair will grow back faster than I will be back home ;)

I will be doing a 10 day meditation course starting February 1st, 2011 – www.suanmokkh-idh.org. I will continue afterwards with my blog.

I hope you are all well.
Many smiles and hugs.
Yours Eylin

  5. Hi Eylin!!:D
Very nice blog!! and pictures:)..and text:))

aja! Hows it going? Where are you now in Indonesia?!? Have you found any intersting place after Ubud?
I am back in Sweden but Niklas is still in Indonesia, in the south, but I think he is going to lombok soon, maybe you are there right now?? We never went there togheter because we very scared of the mosquitos, I didnt have any protection for malaria, so we went to Nusa Penida instead. A really nice Island by the way, its like noo tourist and the beaches(if you find them, are the most wonderful ever seen:)Niklas and I went by scooter, and it was amazing, many up and downhills and beautiful nature, you had liked it. so I can definently recommend that, but I am sure you have found a wonderfull place right now also^^
everything is fine in sweden too, exept me getting the denguefeber...not a fun disease at all.., so please be carefull with the mosquitos, even if you dont kill them;)

Have a wonderfull continious trip, and keep up the good work on your blogg, perfect idea!
